I can't mess with flaky people.

'Flaky' here is restricted to the description, 'unreliable'.

It's just one of my pet peeves. Don't lead me on if you know that you will lift my hopes up and let them drop with a bang. This is not limited to relationships with the opposite sex but with friendships, actually.

I know that we can't keep to our word everytime or predict the future but there some decisions that should not be joked with. I'm not going to claim the title of the 'most reliable person' but I will not say yes to something that I don't want to do. Last spring break, I was meant to be at a friend's but she started being flaky about it. We had planned this like a semester ago and 2wks before spring break, she started talking in tongues. Long story short, I cancelled my air ticket and reserved another one for a back-up trip with some other friends, to the same city o_O. Till date, things are not like it used to be between us because she's so conscious(read: guilty) about stuff.

So, I can't mess with flaky pple and I like to plan ahead, trips et al. Ironically, I don't have a hot temper but I can't condone flaky pple. Like seriously. Ok. That's all about flaky shit.

I'm going to the Timaya concert in NY, this weekend. holla! That should be fun. Well, this is going to be my first Nigerian concert in the states. Is there anything that I should be beware of?

I'm with you. It's either you can or can't and if you can't give me ample warning.

re:concert: It might start 4 hours late.

I detest them, don't know why people just make unneccessary promises, they know they can't fulfill.

i love the title 'flaky'. yeah i hate unreliable people, but just like a normal hate thing. i dont think it bugges me as much as it does you. its a good thing you had a backup, now id have been pissed if that happened, buy my ticket and then lol 'start speaking in tongues' :)

I've been dealing with some flaky people lately so I know how you feel. I know a lot of people going to that concert. Just travel in groups.

I can't stand flaky people either. I like concrete plans. Though sometimes I can be very absentminded and forget things so I'm sure there are loads of people who think I'm flaky. I hope not though.
